hey dude,
i'm a 38 year old male, just turned 38 in april. Before i was diagnosed with hypothroidsim (about 2years ago) i noticed i had something like thrush on my tongue, or a fungus. i would go away occassionally, but always come back. i don't know if i had that and something with my immune system led to hypothryoidism, its hard to tell, but chances are i had hypothyroidism for more than 2years, just took a while to get bad. i also very seldom salted my foods, (iodized salt) ate alot of chocolate, and did however incorporate good foods like fruit and whole grains. I think my diet however was deficient, as far as being balanced with proteins. I will also tell you this, that i always felt somewhat anxious, and had dealed with depression/anxiety long before i was diagnosed with hypothryoidism. But, i notice now, when my tsh gets high, i feel more anxious and not well mentally speaking, and physically tired.
