Hi VeganJenny,

The general guidelines I found from reading posts in this forum is that you shouldn't put any food in your mouth because it will activate your taste buds again and will trigger hunger. It should be water only according to thirst.

Hope this helps, I'm new to fasting and on day two and boy am I hungry!
