mouseclick, putting on weight when I do quit is one of the reasons why I decided to both quit smoking and do a Water Fast at the same time. I have heard many horror stories about people gaining lots of weight when they quit smoking, so I figured if I'm fasting while I quit smoking I can't possibly gain weight, which will be great for me as I already have about 40 pounds to lose, couldn't stand to gain any more.

Why did you gain while doing acupuncture? It must be because you quit smoking and not a result of the acupuncture itself. I didn't gain any weight when I got acupuncture for my migraines, but I wasn't smoking at that time either.
