I agree with what humaworm has stated but would like to add a few things. I was 49 years old before doing my first colon cleanse and it took three such cleanses over about five months before I was having 2 - 3 bowel movements a day that included at least one real healthy movement. The products I used were all very good (I used three different products), highly recommended products, but I was a hard (no pun intended; or maybe it was :-) case I suppose. With each course of cleansing I made it a point to pay attention to my eating and bowel habits. Until after the third one, I did not feel that I had really gotten clean, and I was right... I still believe (because I feel them and occasionally move them) have some pockets of build up.
I am not saying that this person will experience the same thing I did, we are all different, I am saying to pay attention and do not move too quickly from one cleanse to the next if the results from one round of colon cleansing do not bring satisfactory results. I would also not blame the product; I blame myself for failing to eat the way I should have, saving the coffee, burgers, beer, wine, whiskey, pizza, nachos, etc. etc. for an occasional, and I mean OCCASIONAL, treat NOT an every day meal. I had been constipated most of my adult life, more often than not having two or three bowel movements a week.
Patience is the order of the day.
I also made dietary changes I could live with as I have slowly changed my eating habits. The easiest (and first) to do was to replace bad fats and oils with good fats and oils, artificial sweeteners and sugar with stevia, maple syrup and/or black strap molasses, refined salt with unrefined salt, most all produce with organic where/when possible, and preparing my own meals from scratch, eliminating almost all processed foods.
It takes some planning and even after eighteen months I am still making small changes here and there with my diet as I continue to strive to make ALL the changes permanent lifestyle changes NOT temporary quick fixes.
