I'm sure you don't want to hear this but I'm in Canada and about 1 1/2 yrs into the onset of MCS like symptoms and have found no where to go for housing or even emergency shelter.
I am very sensitive and in need of housing and have exhausted my ability to find anything adiquate in Canada or otherwise.

I'm ready to get a tent and find a feild where I can just be. I'm currently in Toronto, I'm a pedestrian so no car to live in.

I've recently gotten into touch with another lady with MCS who has been looking for years and has gone to eco villages and eco resorts only to find what I fear, that they are not true to their titles and you still find scented plugins and common laundry products etc... I found a list of hotels nd resorts and called all of them local to ontario and not one was free from some common toxic product. One of the biggest hardships behind finding or creating housing or shelter for the chemically sensitive is the varying levels of sensitivity and people only making changes to their level, this leaves room for products to find their way in that would affect those with greater sensitivity.

I have found that even if I can find adiquate shelter in the city I still can't walk outside in public areas or take transit, cabs are hard to take, I would just be stuck in my box. It's not a shinny picture, the frustration that there is a place where people like us can be as if nothing is wrong at all but yet it's so hard to find.

Good luck, if I ever find it, or am able to make it I'll send the info around to all the sites to get it out there!

Namaste
