I think you are allergic to one or several of the herbal ingredients.
If it was me, I would have stopped the treatment immediately, as allergy will not go on it's own by continuing herbs.

Herbs, just like spices, nuts, medications, foods, ... can trigger allergic reactions. Swelling is a very common allergic reaction.

Have you ever had any surgery done on your face?
Have you ever used any medications on your face?
