I would try what Wommie suggested first.

If you don't get relief in a couple of days, try finding a GOOD naturopathic dentist. Have a thorough check-up, including cavitations, jaw bone, deep pockets.

Do you have any amalgams/mercury? Any metal? Does the sharp pain "move around" the places you mentioned, with one focal point and the rest more of a diffuse pain? Is the pain stronger at times? (waves/labour type?) You say you've had this pain before. How many times in the past, say, six months, and has the interval between flare-ups increased or decreased? What have you taken before, if anything, for the pain?
