I used the castor oil packs. They helped a lot with the pain.
Flannel cloth folded in 3rd with castor oil on it, not dripping. Place something over that to protect your clothing and bedding like a plastic bag and then a heating pad over that.
Castor oil is somewhat hard to find. I ordered mine from http://www. mountainroseherbs.com.
Castor oil pack is good for about 30 times. Keep it in a covered dish in the refridgerator between applications. Might have to add a little moe castor oil to the pack every time it is used. It dries out a little.
