Hello, 3jaysmom is right, I did experience a lot of things your niece is going through right now and I know how terrified she is. I never had an MRI done, but my GP ran some blood tests and tested my motor skills in his office and determined that an MRI wasn't necessary in my case. If you read through a lot of the old posts, you'll find that many women here have gone through the same thing as your niece. They were tested for MS, lupus and many other autoimmune diseases and everything came back normal. I'm guessing/hoping the same thing will happen with your niece. The amazing and frustrating thing is after all the testing and us telling them about this site (even showing them some posts), these doctors are still at a loss as to what is causing the symptoms. They just won't listen to us. They think we're crazy, hormonal women. I wish you and your niece the best. I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers for a speedy and full recovery.
