It is up to us- we really do have the grass roots power to make ccchange- That's how the Chrisitan Coalition (hence Bush jr) got power. First they weeeeeeere the moral majority (if one overlooks their sexual perversions?)\

But I tell you when they begin losing elections to Liberals they organized and it did make a difference in (not the things one would suspect) but in power.

It can be brought back to some equilibrum if if their is organization at the community level-

And of course at the international level if Blair keeps us honest (as he sometimes does, and sometimes does not) with IMF, and developing nations debt...human srights in Africa, many of the Moslem/Jewish-or Christian civil wars.

There is only rebellion when there is no hope- if people have hope- even with hunger and disease they are often very dddynamically resilent- as apect that I see as the most beautiful in the human spirit
