I used to go to an interactive, chat-room style forum whose moderators grew so tired of the swearing, they configured the text in such a way so that if someone swore the word in question would automatically change to the @#%^$ style lettering. :D

A few people I know of found a solution to their 'swearing'.. they used other words or phrases in place of an offending cuss word, such as saying 'Bee' instead of Bit*h or 'Swoosh' instead of $h-it. Or phrases like 'Out the back door'.. :)

I guess it's really up to you... I know my Mama doesn't like it at ALL when I or anyone else uses offensive language - sometimes it'll slip, but I'll always follow up with a sheepish 'Excuse me!' :)
