I have just been diagnosed with lichen planus. I have been suffering with this all over my body for 4 months. I have just searched this disease and am horrified as well as terrified that this could go on for years! Is there any immediate itch relief known? I have tried cortizone and steroids without success. I don't want to medicate further until I am allergy tested. But I need this itching to stop!!! Any advise?
