I'm currently undertaking the Hydrogen Peroxide cure for my Alpha 1 Antitrypsin disorder induced emphysema. There is a strong possibility that I got the pneumonia that reduced my lung function by breathing in mold. I read about the inhaled hydrogen peroxide treatment on this website and decided to try it. H.P. is very good at dealing with all kinds of infections and disease topically, so I'm thinking it would be effective on the surfaces of the lungs also. I put a half teaspoon of standard drugstore 3% H.P. in my nebulizer and inhaled 6-7 puffs every 2 hours.

I'm struggling with the effects of spring allergies and albuterol was only helping a little. After the first few inhalations of H202 (hydrogen peroxide), I experienced an opening up of the lungs, an ability to take bigger, deeper breaths almost immediately. And a real increase in energy.

Today, I'm getting a backlash of a lot of mucus to deal with. I'm taking Mucinex to help with that, and continuing to use albuterol and aspirin or ibuprofren to deal with the lung inflamation that will continue for a while until real healing occurs.
But I'm happy to deal with the mucus as I'm sure I'm getting rid of a lot that has been left in my lungs for a long time. I haven't experienced this much lung expansion in years.

I next plan to try the sunflower oil pulling cure. It sounds odd, but since I frequently use castor oil on my chest under a hot pack to break up chest congestion with colds and flu with good results, I can see how it might have some positive effects.
