ATA,

I fully understand how difficult it is to face overpowering emotions because if it were easy, I would still not be on disability all these years.  It's an up and down roller coaster ride.  I accept that for me it will be a continual up and down experience, but I do work very hard to steer it upward-bound, and when I don't succeed, I try and try again :)  DEFINITELY NOT EASY.
