Please help me!!! I got the flu over two months ago, it came and went fairly fast, although I coughed alot everything seem to be fine. Well 3 days later my ribs both sides felt like someone was stabbing me, I was in so much pain and still am. I went to the DR. and he said I first had Costochondritis but my chest didn't hurt just my ribs did as I had Costochondritis a couple of times before (in a period of 10 years) and that was all in my chest. I had two x-rays & an MRI (on my back) as Dr. thought it might be a pinched nerve. Well its not. Why wouldn't they do x-rays or MRI's on ribs???? Everyday I use heatpads, ice packs, tylenol (16-20 a day) aspircream, flexril nothing helps me. As I type this just sitting at the computer it hurts and all I can do is cry. Who should I go see????
