Number one cause of my A-Fib is Sodium nitrates , the preservative in Bacon, hot dogs,ham, deli meats, pepperoni. Of course, caffine goes without saying, and by the way, there is caffine in chocolate, especially dark chocolate. Also, MSG, Aspartame (Nutrasweet), Splenda, and the latest has been cashews. Every episode of A-fib has been linked to artificial chemicals. This probably isn't the case with all A-fib, but maybe someone is like me and will find this information will help. I'm feeling great these days, now these have been eliminated from my diet.
