until about a month ago, i had a job which i took for the money. my daughter was in college. there were seven peple in the office but me and one other guy were the only ones who knew how to do our job, for which we had to speak french and have specialized training. the other guy quit and i was the only one left who could do the job. i was working sixty hours per week or more. i started having problems with my back until it got so bad that i had to tell them to put my phone and computer on the floor and i worked there until they found someone to come and replace the other guy. by that time i couldn't even drive the car to work and had to stay home. l turned out to have two herniated discs, due to my lifestyle and all that sitting, and the stress, etc.
less than a month later they had their replacement for the other guy trained and found someone to replace me, too, and sent me a letter that i am fired.
that job was so stressful for me, i never really liked it, it was mindless and frustrating. now that i am out of there for one month, i am so relieved that i dont ever have to go back. my daughter just graduated from college and she already has started a good job. i learned my lesson, imagine i was lying on the floor to do that job but, business is business! right? I am so relieved to be out of there that i can't even imagine how i ever did it for so long, even considering my daughter's college education. it certainly has been a big lesson for me.
