If you bleed when removing the flaky skin, doesn't that mean it's healing? I remember back in the day like from 10-20yrs old it would come off extremely easily when it came into contact with liquids. But after i put that lip balm with tocopheryl acetate (vitamin e) it became extremely difficult to remove some of the skin and i would do more damage in attempts to "even" out the texture of my lip.
