well maybe the person ate them on break time,
at least they made the trash can, cluttering work space in open
view.
I remember one job I had.. even drinks were not allowed.
but I was one of the best workers there and rarely got to *break away *
even to take time to get a drink.. bath stops were done literally at
a run pace!!
The manager would really come down hard on all the other girls
that did not do *extra work..
whereas I was always busy trying to do stuff I knew needed to be done
by night auditor crew and that they were overloaded trying to do regular
work plus the auditing of each contract.
Anyhow.. he would come over andstart opening drawers to see who he could catch
many girls kept chips etc in drawers..
and he would really blast them if caught and give them warning
file notices.
he would stand next to me and barely open my drawer (where I always had
a very small drink from restaurant in same building... Ineeded it
since my job also involved lots of repetious talking to customers.)
He would barely glance and quickly close the drawer
and throw out a reminder tp every one that food and drinks were not allowed!
..and he could be real mean when he wanted to be.
So I think if you are highly productive and a worker that a manager
seriously wants to keep and realises that you are not ultra breaking
rules .. bosses will be a bit more lenient with you.
We all knew he would even park at a nearby childrens home and could watch
us with binoculars..
so he saw who was nonstop working, and who was just standing
around yapping when there was always work to be done.
just a past experience I felt like sharing.
Later after I quit, he asked me back 3 different times.
I heard later that he NEVER asks an employee back after they
quit, and will never rehire one that quit either if they apply
on their own ..
so that made me feel really good when I found that out.
