I did a urine test which showed high cadmium. I took Modiflan which is a concentrated seaweed product with algin known to remove heavy metals for a couple of months and took the urine test again and it was clear. You may want to find a good clean source of sea vegetables and look up some macrobiotic recipes that use kelp (kombu) or wakame seaweed. Miso soup with wakame is a constant in the macrobiotic household. My parents smoked so I think that is where I was exposed to cadmium.
