Yes, the lye part gave me pause, which is why I haven't rushed into it. I'd really love to have someone show me how to do it, but that isn't very likely. But who knows?

Yes, I should've expected you had a better water source than the kind of junk that runs through my faucet. If you get it going, I'd really like to hear what you find & how you did it.
