I have the same problems stated by muhammed apart from puffy eyes. It's adrenal fatigue... I looked deep into, i have the most of symptoms.
kartiks mentioned pituitary gland, i know thats secretes growth hormone and growth hormone is needed for healing, growing muscles, repairing, slow down aging, energy levels etc. I know the pituitary gland sends messages telling the adrenal glands what to produce(cortisol etc). Off the top of the head, it could be the pituitary gland is fatigued and can't produce growth hormone(and other stuff) to repair/send messages as efficiently as it once did, because of our chronic lip problem. Just like excess cortisol can cause adrenal fatigue. excess growth hormone for healing can cause pituitary gland fatigue... Just a thought.
also L-Lysine can stimulate the pituitary gland to secrete growth hormone.
... anything can alter the functioning of a gland, chronic stress, chronic inflammation, diet, infection etc. But we may have to remove the trauma(EC) before it can regulate itself or vica-versa or both. Peace.
