Thanks Trapper! In these Q&A's, people ask about everything- *EVERYTHING*. Although I don't necessary buy into all of the subject matter, I have seen where Douglas has been right about personal details that he could not possibly have known, so AFAIAC there is definitely something to this and he is not performing any kind of cold reading technique ala John Edwards and the like.
Although I'm not completely sold on the information on past lives, an example of an interesting question was a gentleman who asked if he had any past lives where he was famous enough that there would still be evidence of those former lives to this day. The answer was detailed and included his name in those lives..
Douglas already has a book out called 'Secrets of Life'. Very good book and it's written from what he received through the Akashic; goes into detail about what happens to people when they pass away and the states afterward, how karma works, and answers to who we are and why we're here.
So basically this new project will be well worth the great deal of time and effort it is requiring, as it is a resource for all kinds of information, the health data being just part of it, but that's what most people will probably be looking for primarily. According to the sessions, we are right now at a very critical point in Earth's history.. some of the information I am seriously hoping is *NOT* true, e.g. from 2012-2018 or so major earth changes are predicted to take place (Cayce went into this also but his timing was off) which will involve land mass changes as the magnetic pole shift occurs. Climate change is a prelude or foreshadowing of this; cold areas of the world are getting warmer and traditionally warm areas of the world are getting colder (see: playing havoc with citrus crops in the southern states). Eventually the poles are supposed to switch, mass flooding and earthquakes will happen and everything west of the Rockies is predicted to be underwater. Again I take information like that with a grain of salt, and obviously hope it will never happen, but since he's been right about many things thus far one can't help but wonder... many years ago for example he predicted Hillary would run for President and one person in particular laughed and said, "There's not a snowball's chance in H*ll of that happening!" ;) And there are other examples.. he's not correct about everything, but his accuracy 'rate' is very good especially when it comes to health questions.
As for healing, it's clear that each person is unique enough that their situation and causes of health problems may differ from others with similar issues. For one guy with IBS symptoms, chiropractic action might be recommended with some diet changes. For another guy with the same symptoms, the spine may not have any issues but grape seed and grape fruit seed extracts, and slippery elm and protein shakes and some stretching exercises might be recommended. Each session is tailored to the questioner.
There's an experiment of sorts I could put together if there is enough interest: several CZ posters would provide me their names and addresses which I would keep confidential. I could have a session done where for each person, the question would be what are their health issues, specifically what symptoms are they dealing with. And perhaps another harmless question like what are examples of that person's hobbies or something. When the answers come back I would post them on the forum, substituting their CZ handles for their real names, and they could reply with whether or not the answers are accurate. This could be an authentic test of Douglas' ability which could end up either satiating or confirming the doubters. :) Anyone up to it..?
