I think your over doing some Yoga exercise and this is causing your knee pain. I took Vinyasa Yogo and it did the same to my shoulder.

I find Matt Furey exercises to be similar to yoga but you get the workout over with quicker. And if you have problems he has exercises and equipment to take care of the problem.
