Doesn't make sense to me either. Chlorine dioxide kills in a similar manner as the other oxygen therapies; only much, much stronger and faster.

L-lactobacillus is "anaerobic" but can thrive in aerobic environments as well. That's why it is safe from Miracle-Mineral-Supplement . Being anaerobic is only one condition making a pathogen favorable for destruction. I'm not sure about other good bacteria though. I suspect that Miracle-Mineral-Supplement will destroy a lot of those. This is why it is good to supplement with probiotics; but not at the same time as your Miracle-Mineral-Supplement dosage. It's just a precaution. A few other criteria is necessary as well as a pathogen being anaerobic (thrives in low oxygen). It also has to have molecules that have free electrons that the MMS can steal. That process is instant. The pathogen must be an "electron donor". It must also have a pH less than 7. So, you see? There are conditions upon which MMS will function. And all three must be present; not just anaerobic.

Metal oxidation is different from the above description. All that is required here, is that the metal, such as mercury, leans to the acid side or reacts to too much oxygen.
