I gain weight prior to and during my period, I'd get pretty discouraged. I'd hold onto about 4-5 pounds of retained water, and this was during a water fast. A couple days after it left, the weight came right back off. I remember I didnt even drink anything one day and I was peeing like a 9 month pregnant lady! Haha. Good luck!! angie
