your right about it going away over night.

i think this will definetely go away in 30 days with melatonin,it takes 30 days for dead skin on the lips to shed which happens invisably. So it will take 30 days for the dead skin to shed while our lips produce a healthy skin layer underneath.

the dead skin wont peel off it will shed invisibly like the rest of our body and after 30 days we will see a healthy layer of skin.
