my thought is to make a solution of a mercury binding agent in water and go in early and spray down the whole office.

mercury binding agents include pectin, alginate, and sulfur compounds. MSM, N acetyl cysteine are both sulfur contianing compounds. so if you happen to have some MSM around you might consider spraying down the office with an MSM/water solution.
