Hi Jessesmom, That's very interesting about the lead & buski connection. That's the visible parasite I see when I cleanse and I definitely have a lead overload. See below my heavy metals test results. The number on the left is my result while the number on the right is the reference range. Metals w/o a number were not detected. Lead is a problem for me as well as nickel. Mercury was there as well. The thing about testing for heavy metals is that they do not readily show up on urine tests unless a provoking agent is used. I was given 1500 mg DMSA before collecting urine for 24 hours. I did a test before this one w/o DMSA and there were no metals detected. This is why heavy metal toxicity is rarely diagnosed, at least in conventional medicine. The body will sequester metals in tissues, organs etc... anywhere to get it out of the blood, hence why blood tests are almost useless. Unless you are acutely poisoned metals cannot be found in the blood after 2 days or so of an acute poisoning. Slow, chronic poisoning also builds up in tissues, not blood. Some Dr.s do hair analysis but this method has its flaws as well. I believe my metals overload is even more than what the below results yield. I have a 'yeast' problem as well. Metals attract candida and other pathogens and these pathogens hold onto the metals. This is why I've not been successful with standard chelation therapy. The metals are bound by my yeast problem and chelators can't reach the tightly bound metals. Our Dr. has me on Colloidal Silver and Zeolite, which is really working great for me. The idea with this dual treatment is that the CS deals with the pathogens and when the pathogens begin to die off the metals are liberated. Zeolite is there to sweep up the liberated metals. I've been using it for a month now. I am feeling somewhat toxic though. I also use HM Nano Detox by Premier Research Labs. It's liquid Chlorella and also does a great job getting metals out. We'll see how everything goes but I'm sure heavy metals contribute to parasite problems as well as pathogen problems.
