I haven't got any classic signs of inflammation.. such as red, swelling, itching etc. I used to when i first got this, over the years its just been the growing skin problem. I don't think the Vit C has anything to do with the inflammation. I have no idea of knowing if there is underlying inflammation without a biopsy, but i'm not doing that.
