I never suggested that obesity is healthy , but it probably beats a 500 calorie a day diet that will kill anyone eventually . What percentage of the population starves to death in India , Brazil and other third world countries today verses the percentage starving to death twenty years ago? People did'nt become obese in the seige of Leningrad or in India twenty years ago but they were'nt too healthy.
