It is hard to tell. Once the skin falls off on it's own the lips look very normal. The skin keeps on growing back though. I'm thinking about buying some melatonin cream. One of my mom's friends says fixing inflammation can take 6 weeks or longer, especially if the inflammation is deep in the tissue. The point of the biopsy was to see if there is any underlying inflammation.
