If I boil some of my RO water which has a conductivity reading of about 20, will that bring it down?

No, because just boiling it will not get rid of the minerals. Your silver puppy will turn off in a few minutes because you already are at 20 ppm. If you get a distiller and distill the RO water you will have very pure distilled water though.

I think it will be fine as long as the silver is clear to light yellow and not more than 20 ppm. Maybe experiment with other brands of distilled water.
