Maybe this seems a bit more educated than your approach to the matter, however I found your "expose" lacking in any rock solid information. After reading through your various reasons for disliking these products the only that came to mind was "superficial nonsense". Although it may be astonishing to some, not all things that are considered "good" for the human body are easy, sweet smelling, or pleasurable.
My experience with these products is for medicinal purposes. If you're looking for a product to give you a nice "pulling" or "tingly" sensation... go take a couple supplements and buy a nice menthol salt scrub. Don't waste your money on things that are meant to have an effect far beyond sight, smell, and touch. The body is a magnificently complex instrument that is very keen on generating energy. You appear to have excess negative energy spewing from every orifice, to which I reply: if you don't want something to work, it won't.
If your intention is to supply product users with information on how well these items work, please... oh please... be more responsible and educated in doing so. The world does not need another ill-educated critic with an over-whelming urge to "spread the word". What we need are people that take an un-biased approach to researching the products actual positive effect on our bodies. Using a magnetic clay bath purely for the pulsating sensation and not for it's heavy metal detoxing, would be like someone buying a computer so they can play Solitaire.
My recommendation is to call the manufacturer, discuss your goals with them and inquire what chemical/biological effects you should expect their product to have. The ones that I recall, require blood or fecal testing to determine the results and to do that properly you would need to perform this before and after treatment.
