Yes, I see the segments you refer to in the 3rd picture, Rabbitears. I think this was a segmentation mark, not broken skin. I did not realized when taking the pics; it all looked rather flat and smooth fleshy to me, but probably I was more focused on taking the pictures than looking in detail to the worm.
Once I get the courage, I might disect one of these things, as I have seen pics in some websites with disected ascaris & tapeworms, and once I pass the horror phase, I am too curious! If and when I do it, I might post pics of my disection session into the forum...yes, i am getting the hang of taking pictures of my "pets" :-)
