Hello Albertjohnson,

I agree that my approach is a little controversial... [smile icon]

I feel that people who are already sick should not subject themselves to the additional stress of making themselves sicker. If you are on your death bed and about to expire, I would make an exception, but in all other cases I think it is better to stay healthy.

Jim Humble says that you may experience 10 - 15 minutes of nausea. I think that if you experience nausea, you need to immediately take some vitamin C to neutralize the dose. Now you can reduce the dose and stay there for a couple of weeks as you clean out your system.

People seem to get in a big hurry to see what there limits are. I don't look at this as a contest. It probably took a while to get sick, and it will probably take a while to get well. I think it is fine to rush into this and see what your limit is, but just as soon as you get a little queasy, neutralize the dose, back off a little, and take it easy as you return to health.

I may also have to make an exception in the case of malaria. It seems that two shock doses taken a few hours apart are the way to deal with it. However, I don't read about people suffering nausea as a result of these shock doses, so my convection still stands.

Ramp up until you get to the point where your stomach feels a little strange. Then immediately take some vitamin C to neutralize the last dose so you don't get sick. Next, drop back a little and stay there until your health improves and you can tolerate a higher dose. There is a very good possibility that you may be able to get your health back while you are biding your time at a lower dose.

Tom
