Does the public at large, to include the average voting-minded person, have the assurance to be aware of and know what, technically, constitutes "running" in this context? Are you speaking in official, formal terms, or in more loose, informal terms? Does it matter? To be honest, I do not understand even by loose terms what definition you are going by, but whatever terms these may be, they do not seem to be even close to agreement with Ron Paul's current view. A quick glance his 2008 web site suggests all kinds of snippets of clues that give hints that he may in fact still be "running". Are you suggesting that perhaps Ron Paul himself does not know that he is no longer "running"? Among the information there I see a campaign add for Pennsylvania as recent as April 16th. Are you implying he stopped running sometime between the 16th and today, the 22nd?  Does it matter? During the week or so prior to the Texas primary Donna dp9 was informed that Ron Paul was no longer running. This turned to be a lie, the source of which was not  (that I'm aware) investigated to any genuine extent. There was a tidbit of news that came one day and was plowed over, under, and gone the next. Therein was indicated components (human and other) of the chain of Texas voting system "voting officials" READ: minions, were among those propagating this lie. Does it matter?  Even minus the running question, what assurance is there that the average voting-minded person even knows how to navigate and, as necessary, wrestle their way around the electronic ballot system to the extent necessary to cast a write-in vote?
