While i am doing treatment, i will be researching.
I have just written down, "What controls the skin growth?".. the answer being basal cells. You can read on it from here
http://www.cancer.org/docroot/CRI/content/CRI_2_4_1X_What_is_skin_cancer_51.asp
Yes, chronic cortisol is the cause. To further my progress.. i'm looking for what chronic cortisol has effected.
"Living keratinocytes are found below the stratum corneum. These have migrated to form the lowest part of the epidermis, the basal layer. The cells of the basal layer, called basal cells, continually divide to form new keratinocytes. These replace the older keratinocytes that wear off the skin's surface."
^^
I'm thinking the chronic cortisol effect has accelerated the basal layer/cells to produce more keratin. This pushes the healthy keratin towards the surface and it becomes part of the stratum corneum aka dead skincells and the cycle continues. I'll probably do more research but NBA playoffs are happening and that is a distraction.
It is quite difficult.. i want to know what specifically the cortisol effects for the skin to grow so fast. If anyone can build on this, would be appreciated. Peace.
