Ok - so last night I did a aloe vera enema using an emptied out fleets enema bottle. I first did a cleansing enema (just water) and then did the aloe, but I didn't retain it the first time but expelled it. What I saw in the toilet kinda freaked me out initially - it looked like there was something "fuzzy" floating in the toilet. I didn't take a pic, but I think it was dead epithelial tissue from my intestines sloughing off and/or possibly it was candida. Anyway--I wanted to mention that my ND suggested a 3-4 oz aloe enema nightly (to be retained while you sleep) for 2 months to help heal up leaky gut. From the reading I have done on Aloe, it is anti-fungal too, so using it in this way can be very beneficial.
