lately I've been making sweet potatoe chips...they are pretty good and really curb that carb craving for me. if you have a dehydrator, you can make them by slicing sweet potatoes very thin (using a mandolin), then soaking for 10 minutes or so in some good quality oil, salt, cumin and cayenne powder. and dehydrate...very tastey. the trick is getting them cut extremely thin, that way they come out crunchy...if they are sliced too thick, they are chewy and not very good. I've been having these for 2 weeks already I think. I also make chocolate with coconut oil and coconut butter, carob nibs, gogi berries and powdered cashews, sweetened with stevia... needs to be kept in the fridge though otherwise it doesn't stay solid enough. but it's very good too.
