Joshua's eardrum burst during the night last night. It's still draining now (9:30 am). He can't hear out of that ear and now Momma Bear is really worried.

If I take him to the doctor he will put him on antibiotics, but with the membrane broken I don't know if he would prescribe ear drops or not. Joshua took 2 oz silver yesterday, I put silver in his ear 3 times yesterday, plus he's taking echinacea, Vitamin C, and Tylenol for the pain. This morning when he got up I gave him 2 more oz of silver. I'm wondering if I moistened a cotton ball with silver and put it in his ear if that would be safe, or if it would be better to put a dry one in and just change it when it gets icky.
