As someone with bad muscle problems over a 3 year period, I have tried all kinds of topical creams for alievating pain. Remember though that all they are doing is tricking your mind into feeling a different sensation. You might want to give it a few days, if it doesnt subside, get to a doctor and have an Xray to see if you have any issues. I dont find Epsom Salt baths help but I have been in float tanks (google it and you can find one in your area). This helped a little. Invest in a good heating pad too.
