I would say it took about 2 or 3 months before most of the symptoms were gone. The memory and brain fog were gone almost immediately. My hair continued to fall out for probably 6 months after removal (its since stopped and growing back. I have 1" long frizzies all over my head, yay!) The only symptom that lingered for almost 9 months is anxiety right before my period. Now that has also stopped. I've been working hard to drop the 25 lbs., it has not just dropping off me like some say it does, you definately have to work at it. I have about 7 more pounds to go. I have my energy back, I feel great. I have a very positive outlook on life, where before I was wishing that if I were dying, that it would happen very fast and spare my family a long drawn out thing. How bad is that? Never had Depression or anxiety or any of the other symptoms until I had the Mirena. Hope I answered your questions.
