i would also like to add (and i reported this in my blog just yesterday!) that i've always noticed when flossing (for as long as i can remember) that my gums toward the back were slightly irritated. after just seven days of fasting, this irritation has completely disappeared!!! of all the things i expected from my fast, this was never even something that crossed my mind, but i'm very happy about it :)
