please remember, berries are some of the most contaminated foods we can buy. buy locally, pick in the wild, and choose organic certification as a minimum in commercial settings. that will ensure the benefits outweigh any possible negatives.

berries are one of the things i miss most about alaska. blueberries, raspberries, cranberries, many varieties of currents, cloud berries, salmon berries, crow berries, etc. i can remember walking the tundra on a late fall morning, the frozen tussocks crunching at my feet and the half fermented blueberries by the handfuls being like frosty little daiquiris for breakfast. yummy.
