Bless your heart Donna, you have your hands full.

Under normal conditions, for preventative measures, one to four teaspoons per day is a good dose.  However, with these illnesses, I would increase it by quite a bit.  You cannot overdose.  The silver will be stored in the tissues to prevent against further infection.  So.... with both your sons, triple the dose.

For the earache, use the silver as eardrops.  It will clear the infection up.

Continue what you are doing with the ethinacea, vitamin C, lots of fluids and I am going to post the remedies from Tony's Collected Home and Herbal Remedies.

Tony adds: There is really no such thing as too much of true colloidal silver and tougher illnesses need larger amounts. My suggestion would be one to two ounces a day.  There has been a bug lately that nothing seems to stop - and there is some evidence that it may come from chemtrails, in which case it would be more of a poison that a pathogen.

Common Cold Remedies

Congestion:

For dry and stuffy nose, try normal saline or salt water nasal drops made by adding 1/4 teaspoon of table salt to about 4 ml lukewarm water. Make a fresh solution every few days keeping it in refrigerator. Use a clean dropper to instill one to two drops in each nostril about three to four times daily for common cold.

Do not use medicated nasal drops without physician's consent as excessive use will cause chemical rhinitis with rebound block

Make the following:

Instructions: Boil all the ingredients in the 5 cups of water till it turns brown and have a hot cup of this mixture every hour to relieve congestion. (From India)

Cold:

Instructions: Mix together and store in small bottle. Take three teaspoons whenever needed.

From Germany/Russia: one shot of any kind of brandy, one whole onion cut into 6 pieces, and a paper bag.  Put onion pieces into paper, bag drink a shot of brandy and inhale into the paper bag for 10 seconds. Throw away the bag, and no more cold.

"My father, Crisosto Pena, a Mexican Apache, believed that chili could cure anything. He said that it was packed full of vitamins and therefore a cure-all, especially for colds.

One day he returned from work and found his wife and five children in bed with the flu. He felt so bad for them that he took out the bag of hot chili pods and soaked them in hot water for 15 minutes. Then he put them into a grinder and ground them with the water they were soaked in. He gave each one of his family members a spoonful with a piece of tortilla. About an hour later the family was moving about. The children were out playing around, and his wife was cooking dinner.

From that day on, I too believe that chili is a cure-all, especially for colds. As a preventive medicine, you can mix the chili with garlic and onions. It not only tastes good, but also keeps colds away.”

Told by I.M. Crisosto Pena, daughter of Crisosto Pena, and the great great granddaughter of Geronimo."
