Did the other medications cause you to have a SEVERE anxiety response? Mine started with Lexapro...paxil did the same. I tolerated Cymbalta slightly better, but had to stop that too before it became theraputic. I've used zoloft briefly before (8 years ago) and didn't have problems, so I'm tempted to go back to it, but I can't say for sure if I have seretonin issues or just have anxiety as a side effect (that will subside). I got a second opinion from a friend's pychiatrist and she said zoloft as well. My psychiatrist wanted to try an anti-seizure medication Gabatril that I am VERY uncomfortable with....

This is the first I've ever dealt with anxiety and I am having a very hard time staying positive about the possibility of getting better.
