Thanks for this JohnnySmith. I would also like to add that when seeking health we (myself included) get so engrossed with finding the one phyto\glyco-nutrient, herb, spice, tea, food, vitamin or mineral etc. that will “cure” us of our ills, we forget that they all work in a synergy together... too little or too much of one upsets the balance and can cause problems. We have been indoctrinated and brainwashed to believe in “one pill cures”.

This is one reason I have moved away from supplementation for the most part, although I do believe that supplementation may have value in some cases of known deficiencies or illnesses much more so than pharmaceuticals.

I believe the Lemon\CH\BSM\ES drink is such a synergy.

It is also why high quality foods, which are so terribly difficult to get any more, are so important to our health and well being. The whole in any food, spice, or herb is greater than the sum of the parts; synergy. Heck, every so often some other component is discovered to be available in plants we had no idea existed... we likely will never know the whole story.

I think focusing on one bodily function, action\reaction, mineral, vitamin, phyto\glyco-nutrient, etc. is a very flawed reasoning\science and why science even though it may on the surface point the researchers in one direction is in gross error more often than not. For instance, taking the catechin polyphenols in green tea and bottling it up. The extract hardly ever works as good as the whole food mg for mg because there are many pieces to the puzzle missing that we have no clue about in terms of interaction and utilization and in order to make use of the catechin polyphenols our bodies must pull the missing pieces together, sacrificing one thing to accomplish another.

Just like not seeing the forest through the trees. Deja vu, I think moreless has used this before.
