Arun, We at CureZone, would love to help you and other scientists with the collecting research data, and we would love for MSN & Yahoo groups to join us so that all the data can be centralized for better access by the scientific community. As you asked, I went to http://health.yahoo.com/other-other/trimethylaminuria/healthwise--nord997.html but I wasn't able to find on the left of the Yahoo Trimethylaminuria message board an example of the type of questionnaire we should try to start with.
I would first like to thank you for participating in this conference call today, and to have posted in CureZone after not having hear from you in the past 25 months. I have read all your posts in CureZone dating back from 3/17/2004 thru 30/20/2006, and then you disappeared. I was hoping to someday be able to communicate with you, since I only joined this forum 40+ days ago.
I can appreciate you wanting CureZone to organize other conference call, but I'm wondering if instead we can undertake another role that would unite MSN BodyOdorSupport Group, Yahoo Trimethylaminuria group, and CureZone. We’ve been working on creating a blog that is still in its infancy, but we hope its primary purpose would be to collect data for scientific research from all three groups, for scientists and professionals to post their articles, and to make references to pertinent websites. As a matter of fact, some members and I have already created one, but have been praying for guidance from the scientific community to tell us what to include in the questionnaire.
Just like Cabel has been so great as to notify all three groups of the conference calls, and he has now offered to give a synopsis of the calls afterwards for those who couldn't listen to the whole call, then we, the CureZone, with your help and that of the rest of the international scientific community can create a blog specifically for the systematic collection of data for research. I hope this blog will unite the 3 forums for this common cause, just as the conference calls have served to unite us.
One of our very valuable members at CureZone, cleartheroom, has begun a questionnaire entitled Profiles which posts questions that we hope will serve research. However, the forum setting is limited in organizing research data, so that’s why some of us thought of this blog alternative. We can then transfer cleartheroom’s profiles data to this blog to systematically organize this data in a more accessible manner for scientists. Would you like to join us in this venture? We could most certainly use your help. The good thing about a blog is that it won’t become exhausting to those who members that seem to be repeating the same info over and over again. Instead, we can post scientific articles and make references to websites for any forum member to refer to.
I think that what we need to do is for each of the 3 forums to have specific tasks that complement each other toward our common cause, which is to find treatment and cure for the various types of body odor throughout the world. Already, MSNBodyOdorSupport Group has gotten the conference calls underway, and Cabel has done an outstanding job setting it up, promoting it, and getting such great guests to participate. Now, he's even talking about reproducing the discussions to best get the word out. I think that if we at CureZone organized yet other conference calls, we may be asking the special guests to spread themselves too thin by having to repeat everything over and over again.
We are open to any and all suggestions the three forums can bring forth to design this blog. Let it be a blog representing the three forums! So, what does everyone think about that? We can call it the CureZone, MSN, and Yahoo Body Odor Support Blog if you like.
I'm so glad you posted with us. You see how these conference calls have united the 3 forums? I hope this blog will also unite us to each other and to the scientific community for this great common cause. Then, for more personalized communication, we can all post in our respective forums where we can get individualized attention to our needs.
