I'm preparing to start growing and juicing, so i haven't tried anything. I'll be going with soiless wheatgrass (actully speltgrass) since i live in a flat. Still searching for the right kind of trays as i'm not about to fork a fortune for those automated sprouters!
I beg to differ on spelt = wheatgrass comment. Wheat has been bred for comercial puroses, to grow faster, to be tastier, easier to harvest, dehull etc. Spelt hasn't, ahs retained all the properties and is more nutritous as as result...there's even a book touting the miracle healing properties of spelt (not grass or sprouts). I just hope i won't have problem with growing it soilless...
